Established in 1952, Zircoa has become a leader in the specialty ceramics industry, servicing a global market of end users with customizable products across three product categories: extrusion dies, specialty refractories, and granular sands and powders. From its headquarters in Solon, Ohio, Zircoa serves a wide variety of end-user markets including electronics, construction and furniture.
Their Business Challenge
Zircoa needed the agility to respond to changing operational and market demands while incorporating new efficiencies into a two-continent product set required by end users across the globe. The company needed a technology backbone that could adjust to whatever circumstances arose.
The Solution
Zircoa purchased a full suite of SYSPRO ERP modules including financials, purchasing, sales, ordering/returns, QC, inventory, shipping, asset manager, and EDI. SYSPRO was chosen for its customizable interface and logical segregation between modules and functionality. Contributing factors included the ease of report queries through SYSPRO’s SQL database and deep support system.
