Founded in 1981, Epicentre Trading has its headquarters in Brisbane and is one of Australia’s largest and most experienced promotional product suppliers. For more than 40 years, Epicentre has been manufacturing and supplying an extensive range of promotional and corporate gifts, from custom-designed products to stock items. With a 4500 sq. meter warehouse, Epicentre is the largest stockholder in Australia.

Following its initial implementation of a fully integrated SYSPRO solution in 2005, Epicentre identified a need for an effective eCommerce platform. As a result, the company embarked on a journey to understand the power of SYSPRO and exactly what its capabilities are.

By partnering with SYSPRO partner MNM Solutions and the Room 40 Group, Epicentre achieved one of its major goals: to implement an effective eCommerce platform. The system uses e.net to integrate bi-directionally with SYSPRO and set Epicentre on a growth path which continues today.

Epicentre pulls stockholdings out of bonded warehouses in real time around the world, giving customers an accurate view of what is available and enabling them to place orders online. The web order is converted into a sales order in SYSPRO, which flips it automatically into a purchase order. This minimizes touchpoints and ensures an end-to-end process all the way through to the company’s suppliers.

The Epicentre management team is excited about Power BI’s ability to drill down into the business. The team is using SYSPRO as an accurate, comprehensive source of data to gain a deeper understanding of what’s happening in the business.
