Sydney, 29 April 2025 – Viral Vector Manufacturing Facility Pty Ltd (VVMF) has selected SYSPRO for its Cloud ERP system. VVMF is Australia’s first viral vector Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO), uniquely integrated into one of the country’s largest health, education, research, and innovation precinct at Westmead Health and Innovation Precinct, in Sydney.
With embedded scientific and clinical expertise, and supported by a world-class clinical trial ecosystem, VVMF will design, develop, and manufacture viral vectors, a key component of many cell and gene therapies used to treat cancer and rare diseases.
VVMF has partnered with SYSPRO to implement its Cloud ERP system, which includes the following modules: embedded analytics, financials, manufacturing and distribution, lot traceability, quality management and materials requirements planning.

SYSPRO’s accurate lot traceability capabilities will enable VVMF to manage the end-to-end tracking of raw materials, components and finished viral vectors, which is essential for maintaining product integrity, facilitating rapid recalls if necessary and ensuring patient safety.
